The Parade
De Parade is a traveling theater festival that will visit various Dutch cities this summer. From theater and dance to cabaret and live music, there is something for everyone. The atmosphere is casual and creative, perfect for a pleasant summer day or evening. Don't forget to take a ride on the nostalgic whirligig! I myself visited De Parade again this year in The Hague. Ellen ten Damme's Nachtmis is highly recommended, especially if you love Christmas. The circus tent was packed to the brim and the atmosphere was great! Afterwards we had a nice drink and enjoyed the home-baked poffertjes from Au Gwen Marie, which is actually a must if you go to De Parade! Nice to know: even in dreary weather it is great to stay there, there are plenty of covered places to eat.

Mysteryland
Mysteryland is the oldest dance festival in the world and takes place in the beautiful Haarlemmermeer.
