Meet Banaz, the creative force behind PUABI jewelry

At Happlify we are always looking for inspiring stories from creative entrepreneurs, and today we have a special interview with Banaz, the talented founder of PUABI . Banaz comes from Zandvoort and has a background in fine art. Although she was once mainly concerned with painting and making art, she has now found her passion in the jewelry world. In this interview she shares her inspiration and what makes Happlify Crew Member PUABI so unique.

Would you like to tell us who you are and what you do?

My name is Banaz and I come from Zandvoort. As a fine art graduate, I ended up in the jewelry world with PUABI. Before that I was mainly concerned with painting and making art, but now I try to match these two art forms. I am the founder, designer and maker of all PUABI jewelry. With this I mainly wanted to bring my own ideas and designs to life and make other picky women happy.

How did you come up with the idea to start Puabi?

Quite unexpected, to be honest, but I believe my intuition led me there. I was once standing alone in my parents' garden in Twente and suddenly the thought occurred to me 'maybe it is time to start something for yourself' and because of my creativity, skill in jewelry and love for unusual jewelry, I immediately knew what what I wanted to do and how I could help other women. That's how PUABI actually came into existence in the garden!

What is your current favorite design and why?

Actually there are several designs, but from the current collection and offer I can fully say that the connected earrings, especially the Lapis lazuli flower, because of their uniqueness and originality, this suits me very well because I am always looking for something new and slightly different. is present on the market, things due to their uniqueness not everyone has the courage to wear them. In addition, Rmoosh earrings , the design and the ability to wear them in two ways makes them ideal. But the Fairuza earcuffs are also one of my favorites.

What do you enjoy most about running your own brand?

It is wonderful to determine your own course, to work towards your own goals without limits. But above all, being able to express my ideas limitlessly and in full creativity and making others happy or surprising is very nice. When I see others wearing my brand PUABI, my design and homemade jewelry or people speaking with great praise about the jewelry, it is the most beautiful thing.

How do you keep your collection interesting for your customers?

I believe in my own ideas and that my customer, just like me, is looking for something new and unique and is tired of mass production. At PUABI, we pay particular attention to originality, quality and innovation. When I find something new and unique in a design, I know that the customer will also find it that way.
