We are all tired of it: the fact that the coronavirus has taken over everyday life. All around you you are reminded of the fact that nothing is the same as it was. On the street, in the shops, in the catering industry, when you turn on the TV and hell, even when you read this blog post. But wait before clicking away, because today I have a reminder for you that the grass is not always greener on the other side (of the corona crisis).
Parents hugging
Of course I also want to go back to 'the old life'; cuddling my parents, not having to constantly think about that one and a half meter distance and a carefree night out. But if the past year has taught me anything, it's to appreciate what you have. Not just looking at what is no longer possible (then I would have been really depressed for a long time), but trying to make the best of the situation as it is now, because we cannot change it.
Make the best of it
Have you had difficulty with that in recent months? I totally get it, me too. So today I have one friendly reminder for you in the form of this smartphone wallpaper. The quote 'bloom where you are planted' means all of the above: don't look at everything you don't have or what you can't do, but embrace where you are now (physically and mentally) and make the best of it.
Because it is not always easy to stay positive in these times, you can use this wallpaper Download it , save it to your phone and set it as wallpaper. This way, every time you look at your phone, you are reminded that you can transform the current normal into an acceptable (and perhaps fun) reality.
