What a nice and hopeful book: ' Come on ' written by Pascalle Bonnier and Tess Milne. It fits very well with what we are looking for at Happlify: little happiness. This happiness book full of sunny ideas gives a new perspective on everyday things and how to get happiness out of them. It is also completely in line with our own Happlify your life book published by the same publisher (Nijgh & Van Ditmar)! We like!
Book full of DIY ideas
Coming Soon is a book about the greatness of the small. The happiness that you find around the house, in the lake around the corner and hidden between the nettles in the forest. A book full of DIY ideas for positive energy. Think of themes such as walking, swimming in open water, growing your own food, streetcombing, meditating and making things yourself.
So... are you stuck?
Do the coils of your thoughts hijack the wheel of your ship? This book provides small rituals as a guide and wisdom from Tess' British grandparents, Margaret (98) and George (102) as a compass. They survived the Great Depression of the 1930s and the Second World War, their motto is: 'In times of trouble, put the kettle on!' For Tess and Pascalle, the Dutch translation of this is 'comes well'. Two little words your mother could have said. It doesn't mean that everything will be fine, because unfortunately it isn't. But it is a strong antidote to 90% of everyday stress.
